About ANK Foundation
Founded with a belief that every human being born on this planet comes with a distinct quality, ANK Foundation remains committed to creating lasting change in the lives of the communities we serve – ensuring that every child, woman, and family can thrive through nutrition, health, education, and skill development.
ANK – a Hindi word meaning “Digit” – is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering economically disadvantaged children and women. Our mission is to create opportunities for marginalised communities, enabling them to benefit from the transformative shifts in Indian society and economy, particularly in nutrition, education, skilling, and health.
The name reflects our commitment to measurable impact. We do not count programmes – we count lives. And we ensure that when we count, we count everyone, including the last person in the farthest geography we operate in.

Our Approach
When our CSR partners wish to implement a project, we design it around what the community in that geography actually needs – not what looks good on paper. Communities are taken into consensus in every programme we propose or implement, ensuring sustainability long after project execution concludes.

The name ANK – “Digit” – is a philosophy, not just a label. Every intervention we undertake is designed to be tracked, measured, and reported. We believe in the rigour of data and the dignity of every individual that data represents.
